No investor is immune from a bad decision from time to time. A good investor understands this, but a great investor understands the importance of isolating a bad decision. Consecutive bad decisions in an unforgiving market spells disaster. The best way to isolate a bad decision is to re-evaluate the new state of the play/stock and decide upon the most effective method to stop the bleeding. This is yet another skill that can only be truly mastered through experiences.
